Yes they may have a history of keeping but you can't exactly say they live a long life
Said goblin shark which I assume you're referring to (the one devilfish saw) died within 4 days

@savethelephant Yep, that's what I referred to. I know that some deep-sea creatures are more resiliant than others, but I've also learnt that many Japanese zoos and aquariums are still, unfortunately, stuck in the old-fashioned mentality of showing off various animals.
