Golden-necked cassowary

August 13 2016.
Very cool! This individual came from RSCC, correct? If so, does anyone have any other info on it, such as breeding, import origin, or subspecies?

All the animals I've seen in Asian zoos have a much more orange neck, and more blue on the head. Do we know where these individuals came from originally?

Assuming there are even any valid subspecies, these would be a Golden-Necked Cassowary, Casuarius unappendiculatus aurantiacus.
