Southern Pochard. August 2, 2016. I know this is Netta erythrophthalma but is this the nominate or brunnea? Ztl lists Slimbridge as holding the later but the signage lists nominate.
For what it's worth I finally recently (mostly) confirmed that is animal was indeed the nominate, South American subspecies. ZTL was partially incorrect listing them as the African taxa as the collection kept both at the time, and therefore I am choosing to abide by what the signage said they were.
