California condor aviary

March 27, 2017
@d1am0ndback - I think maybe three or four years? This was originally a bald eagle aviary. Then they tested housing condors by putting some Andean condors in here, which of course were totally out of place since this is on the Arizona Trail. However they put some signage to compare them to the California condors which have been reintroduced to northern Arizona. Eventually they got California condors for display. The bald eagles now have a newer and much smaller aviary next to the coatis.
