What a very sad photo! I can't understand why Whipsnade have allowed the bison herd to dwindle. A good sized herd on that hillside would look magnificent!
It's as if they are ashamed of it. I missed it on my first visit, as would literally anyone who didn't know it was there.
The bull there is so impressive, I would want everyone to see him. Some animals just have 'it'.
