The fourth ever record for this species in Belgium!

I was very lucky to see this individual, however it is still unsure whether or not it is truly a wild animal. What doesn't add to the credibility is the fact that it was paired with a ruddy duck. A wonderful observation regardless! :D

Unfortunately, it was confirmed that the bird was ringed, and is thus an escapee and not a wild individual. Ah well. :P
