I have a very unfortunate confession to make: I thought this photo was part of a series of shots of the same Bald Eagle but that is in fact not the case. I'm sure it's a large raptor, but the species is now a genuine mystery. I'll upload the only other shot I have of it, but it's rather abysmal.
In a shocking twist @Water Dragon emerges victorious having correctly identified this as a Black European Vulture. They are the proud recipient of a Hix Award for Animal Identification.
