4/29/2017 - African Plains Habitat (Left Half)

This stunning, spacious savannah exhibit is home to zebra (Grant's I believe), eland, ostrich, bontebok, and springbok. I also saw crowned cranes in a small chainlink side area far away from the visitor viewing area.
@drill: I would agree, especially considering the small size! The zoo grounds are gorgeous, the theming and attention to detail is top-notch, the amenities are great, and most of the animal habitats are of high quality. The major highlights in my book include this African Plains Habitat, the African Savannah area (giraffes, red river hogs, and soon white rhinos), the Australian area (both Kangaroo Kickabout and the cassowary habitat), the gibbon islands, and Treetop Passage.
