I had one of my all-time favourite zoo moments back in 2010 when I visited Kansas City Zoo. This Chimpanzee exhibit is 3 acres in size and I at first didn't see any apes. While I patiently waited in first the boiling Kansas sunshine, and then the air-conditioned viewing building, I was rewarded as a large troop emerged from the forest. It was a fantastic image to see them slowly come into view.

@snowleopard Same! At first there was no sight of them, then a few came out and then they all came out for treat time. Watching the chimpanzees so close in such a natural setting was so incredible and they were a blast to watch. The keeper chat was great too. I got some great videos.
