The old tiger exhibit was not great but not nearly as bad as their leopard and snow leopard cages which are awful. I hope this is a sign they will be improving all of their cat exhibits (except the lions which got a great home several years ago).
Saw the edge last week. In my opinion it's a small upgrade to their old exhibit but not by much. Wasn't impressed by it. I wonder what they will do with the old tiger exhibit. Hopefully move the snow leopards into it as they have very little space in their current exhibit.
I saw this exhibit back on April 30th, and wasn't impressed! Upon seeing it I thought to myself why? Heavens for bit is that the best you can do? Been seeing about The Edge via Denver Zoo website. Only thing good about the exhibit is public sees them up close through glass, and maybe the tigers would walk up the ramp some day. Yet again the ramp is metal, one can image thinking of walking up it on an extremely hot day? I'd label this exhibit THE EDGE OF SADDNESS! Nothing great about it. Better look at Jacksonville Zoo tiger exhibit, better yet Cleveland Metropark's Zoo new tiger exhibit better hands down!
