Former roadside zoo (Route 66)

June 20, 2017
The remains of the mountain lion (puma) cages at the old Route 66 roadside attraction known as Two Guns in Arizona. It is located off Interstate 40 (which replaced adjacent Route 66) between Flagstaff and Winslow. The front of the top building (opposite side of this photo) still has "Mountain Lions" painted on it and is easily seen from the freeway.

I posted a photo of the front here: Former roadside zoo (Route 66) | ZooChat

You can read a brief description of Two Guns here: Two Guns, Arizona - Death By Highway
