This is one of the odd features of the Taiping Zoo. In various places there were old signs still in place for animals which had clearly not been present for some time (in some cases, for several years). Usually the cage was still there, either empty or with some other species inside. But in this case the cage itself has been entirely removed, leaving only the concrete foundation wall - and yet the sign (for Banded Palm Civet Hemigalus derbyanus) has been left standing. I found it somewhat puzzling!
