Chlidonias

view of the African Savannah exhibit

This was a lovely exhibit, very lush and green, with a range of animal species.

Birds in here were Greater Flamingo (a flock on the opposite side of the enclosure), Demoiselle Crane, Grey-necked Crowned Crane, African Spoonbill, Yellow-billed Stork, and Ostrich. Mammals were Giraffe, Zebra, and female Nyala and Red Lechwe. There was also a large troop of wild Dusky Langurs running through and playing in the trees.

The Crowned Crane in the foreground was a little lost, and seemed confused as to what it was doing on the path.
