Does Safari West have the largest herd of Cape Buffalo outside of Africa? The tour guide at the facility was under the impression that statement is true...and the herd of approximately 40 is very impressive to see. Many of the animals were within 30 feet of the jeep and didn't seem bothered by the commotion of the vehicle and watching visitors.
