This the first in a series of photos I took in mid-July 2017 of "The Lost Kingdom," a completely new exhibit area that opened in June 2017. It focuses on animals from Asia. It provides new habitats for the zoos Malayan tigers, snow leopards, siamangs and Komodo dragons. It also contains exhibits of animals new to the zoo - Chinese alligator, Malaysian giant turtle, Southern river turtle, binturong, red panda, and demoiselle crane.
