@Kifaru Bwana I am not sure, but the information I have seen about Africa Rocks all says 'West African Dwarf Crocodile', so presumably it is the nominate subspecies (i.e. not the Congo dwarf crocodile). I'm not aware of any information on what species/subspecies are present in the USA. Would be interesting to know though.
Presumably there will (perhaps later) be fish in this exhibit too, I think a couple of small crocodiles are unlikely to make a very dynamic exhibit for many visitors. I'm surprised they haven't gone for one of the larger taxa, such as slender-snouted. Unless I am greatly overestimating the size of the exhibit from this photo...
@zooboy28 I think most of the US population is thought to be nominate, but testing has only recently begun. I know St. Augustine had an odd one out- presumed to be Osborne's, but unfortunately off exhibit when I recently visited.
@zooboy28 it does look quite a bit bigger in the photo due to it being a panorama. Dwarf crocodile and some fish would work well I think. Still wondering if they will keep the wad crocs in tiger river or if they will repurpose that enclosure.
