Copenhagen Zoo, March 1, 2009. The caracal enclosure is rather new and I would estimate the size to about 150 -200 square meters. It is nicely furnished with climbing structures etc. At a feeding talk some time ago I learned that is it difficult to use any other enrichment than food for these cats. Therefore they are fed every day. In a couple of the pictures that I upload here you might see dead white rats tied to tree branches, but you have to look closely...
