@pachyderm pro Xavira was a bit overweight due to not having much exercise. She looks big because her stall is about 6 inches higher than where visitors stood inside the Pachyderm House. She was a gentle giant and let her keepers brush her down without a barrier between her and them. She was such a sweetheart and I was very sad when I heard she passed away in 2011 since she was my favorite animal at the zoo.
