The closest JyllandsAkvariet gets to having a playground, consisting of a steering wheel and a cabin as "playing tools", a sand area in which kids can look for amber, and a touch pool.
JyllandsAkvariet is one of several small Danish coast aquaria dotted all around the country, but with a particularly high concentration at the Jutlandic west coast. This one is located in the small fishing village of Thyborøn near the harbor.
JyllandsAkvariet is not a huge attraction worth traveling hours for, but it's a cosy little place that's a worth a visit if you are in the general area, and with its nice maritime theming it is, in my opinion, one of the best small aquaria in Denmark. Most of the collection consists of fish and invertebrates from the Jutlandic west coast, but there is also a small exhibition on exotic freshwater fish with special abilities and adaptations, such as electric eel and archerfish.
