Exhibit in new display "How Many Animals are being Worn Here in this "Elegant Outfit"?"

I hope that the answer is zero, in other words that they are all fake. Surely that is the way to set a proper example.

I believe all of the animal products and parts in the display are real and come from confiscations, etc. of endangered animal parts. This is part of a display showing a variety of animal products and parts like ivory, pangolins, rhino horn, etc. with the theme that "they will only be a memory soon".

I have an old (90s) CITES poster at home somewhere that was displayed at airports - it shows a couple wearing a number of items made from animals (ivory, furs, tortoiseshell, etc.) with photos of the animals as well, and says "Don't Buy Endangered Wildlife". I think these sorts of displays are a relatively useful way of making this point.
