that's really nice. It doesn't look like the refections off the glass are too bad either.

What is the double bar around the top for? Just for bracing, or is to hold an awning or something?
 
Even critics of San Diego Zoo must surely admit that the facility does a great job when it comes to underwater viewing areas. The Dwarf Crocodile exhibit in this photo appears to be excellent, but there are many other examples:

I find myself puzzled by this photo. Is this exhibit finished yet? Why isn't there more of a shade structure in the viewing area? Why preserve the views above the exhibit of the poles and other architectural features?
