The relatively new Scarlet Ibis building is very nice and another couple of species are kept in it as well.
The building is a good example of Scandinavian design and was made possible by a donation. You walk right in and then you are in the visitor´s area with a free outlook into bird area. There are no real boundaries but I have as yet never experienced that the birds venture into the visitor´s area - which contains a few educational items. Also - probably rather often - some noisy humans who leave traces behind them such as half-empty ice-cream cups...
