That is certainly not the most aesthetically beautiful "den" but at least it is situated in a prominent location for the benefit of visitors. How obtrusive is the mesh? Is it easy to see through?
Good question. I am not sure how I feel about it. I was in the area at 2:00pm -ish and I will tell you that the the mesh was difficult to see past at certain angles and fine at others. I got dizzy twice while hunting around with my eyes for the animals. My eyes were having difficulty focusing. With sunglasses on it became much easier. So I think it will depend on time of day, the sun/clouds, and the angle.
