Not sure about that - I find the exhibit shamefully small.

Such a shame no-where really exhibits these animals how they should be in large groups.

Hoping to get 55-300mm lens in the next few months but will set me back nearly as much as there camera itself!

But as for the hardware to your camera - you are buying hot stuff from from the original camera maker, then? I got a Tamron 85-300 mm for my Nikon D60 (which is the "entrance model" camera from that maker) and I am not sure that I would be much happier with an "original lense", amatuer as I am...
