King bird of paradise

The center keeps three species of bird-of-paradise?

What is the idea of the breeding center? Is it just a private collection of does the center send birds to zoos (or maybe back to the wild) as well?

@AWP They mainly seem to take birds from the wild , some great blue turaco that were destined for them were confiscated at Schiphol and are now in Avifauna.... I wouldn't be surprised if some of these cock-of-the-rocks are also not captive born.

@lintworm @AWP I believe that all the birds are captive born, origins of the birds of paradise is Al wabra in Qatar, and the cock of the rocks is Dallas world aquarium , USA. The centre breeds birds for loan to zoos or for sale to private collectors, depending on the species and necessary documentation.
