Arizona Docent 23 Oct 2016 Nice to see a macaw in a large flight aviary, instead of on a stick with its wings clipped (as most American zoos do).

K K Kifaru Bwana 24 Sep 2017 I also see a hokko species and another unidentifiable bird species in the background top right.
Chlidonias 24 Sep 2017 @Kifaru Bwana - the two birds together? They're the same species (pauxi). I can't see any other birds in the background.

K K Kifaru Bwana 24 Sep 2017 I did not have a clear cut look, just noticed them. Now you mention it and zooming into the picture more and more, yes both pauxi. What a great sight. Kudos to Attica for being a really great bird collection.

Arizona Docent 24 Sep 2017 I assume you mean middle right, not top right (as there is nothing there but tree and sky)?
K K Kifaru Bwana 24 Sep 2017 Top right exhibit floor - meant like - as hokkos are not much of the very flying kind.
