My first visit of Zoo Berlin was in 1999, but some time ago I bought a Zooführer of 1989. The main difference in the collection of the Raubtierhaus with ten years later were the species kept in the small carnivores wing. Most notably is a collection of rare mustelids: fishing marten, honey badger en greater grison. Instead of Malagasy mongoose, bat-eared fox, jaguarundi and sand cat, Zoo Berlin kept yellow and banded mongoose, bush dog, Asian gold cat and black-footed cat at that time in the the small carnivores wing.
