Cinnyris coccinigaster, a new arrival in this aviary, which houses a collection of small African birds. There is a male too, but he did not pose well for me. The keeper was not sure of the species, and suggested superb sunbirds, but the barred breast of this bird indicates that it is a splendid sunbird: my poor photos of the male confirm this.
