Babirusa - Olive

Really nice candid shot. I always forget that they're on exhibit next to the Rhino house.

I wish they had been able to stay in with the gibbons for a more dynamic exhibit and then we could have kept tapir Tanuck. Not that he did anything ever but I like tapirs and maybe the SSP would have seen fit to give him a mate.

How often are the Babirusa on exhibit? Whenever I go I never see them.

During the Spring and Summer they're on exhibit everyday in the outdoor exhibit. I believe they're out during the fall depending on the weather. Winter they're indoors, now off exhibit since the new Rhino Reno.

Thanks for the information. I must just have bad luck.
