The wall at the back leads through to an outdoor area for meerkats (which looks like a crocodilian pool) that is due to be made part of the enclosure for this caiman. I suspect that that enclosure is where an American Alligator that the place used to have but is now dead used to live. They have three meerkat enclosures so losing one won't do any bad :p.
