Anneke and her son, born 17 December 2017 and starting to explore. And so it begins, the over-involvement in watching him grow up as he's stretched by his companions, teeters too close to high edges and wobbles across ropes. Fortunately, Anneke is made of sterner stuff than some zoo visitors and is more laid back about it all, although her previous son, Bean, died aged 1½ after breaking his arm.
