I can't tell with 100 % accuracy from this photo but I think that the one in the middle. However, she is certainly not dead. She was the last polar bear to be born in Copenhagen to the old couple. She moved to Aalborg shortly after where she still lives

Are you sure this bear is the last one born? I think (but as you have seen, my memory is not something to count) that the last breeding was in either 1994 or 1996. It was either one of those years at least. This one looks to be born 1992 or 1993 by the size of it, a subadult cub. I read this in some Copenhagen Zoo document some years ago but cannot for the life of me recall which one, although it may have been a leaflet in both English and Danish that I picked up somewhere at some point but I don't have it any longer.
No, I cannot be a 100% sure about this but I am fairly certain. I must admit that I have never done much work to trail the movements of polar bears from Copenhagen Zoo
