Does anyone know if copenhagen still keep tamanduas? they do not keep them according to zootierliste.
If they do not keep them anymore it is a shame, they are such a beautyful and pretty rare species (in european zoos anyway) enjoyed them very much when i visited copenhagen

Copenhagen Zoo decided not to keep tamaduas anymore earlier this year after deciding that they were not "visitor friendly" enough (they slept the whole day). A second breeding group of golden lion tamarins now live in their exhibit.
