Cypher is correct this is exhibit space is for the wolves. If they can transfer all three of them there it does give keepers a chance to clean the main exhibit. The wolves are notorious for being harder to get into this exhibit. They virtually never use their barn. However because this exhibit can be closed off to keep the wolves in it the zoo can also close it off to keep them out and use it as an additional off exhibit yard for the Arctic foxes. Let's them explore a different space and gives keepers a chance to do work in their exhibit as well without having to keep the foxes penned up in their ridiculously small barn that has always been undersized. It was a bad design which prevented the zoo from changing to another species when the last foxes died. It was too small for a lynx or wolverine to be housed .
@cypher I do not know an exact number on wolverines, but I would venture on the notably uncommon side. I can only think of three zoos off the top of my head that have them: Detroit, Columbus and Minnesota. Obviously there may be a few more, but not many I think.
