Chlidonias 2 Mar 2018 @AWP - they have them at WILDLIFE Sydney, so presumably you simply missed them there. Healesville has them, but I think you didn't go there. (Recent review and species list here: Healesville Sanctuary - Healesville Sanctuary review, June 2017). They are in several other Australian zoos also, just not the zoos you visited.
