So you made it all the way to Slovenia in winter? Impressive! How many elephants does the zoo have? Does this photo show the extent of the outdoor enclosure?
Well, it's only a two hour flight but a day or two earlier and we might have been scuppered - by weather in the UK, not Slovenia..!
There is only the one elephant and this is pretty much the whole paddock - just speculation, but I suspect we have here a 'Paignton scenario' of an elephant that will be kept as long as it lives but possibly will not be replaced.
