Is there any indication of the nature of the work being undertaken, or it’s likely completion date? I really like this Bird House, and hope it’s essenti character is not compromised by the works.
Not sure how long it will be closed. On my visit last week the inside was completely empty of cages and the website states that the refurbishment is taking longer than expected. Maybe ready for mid summer? Sorry I couldn't be more precise.
The refurbishment has been predicted to be complete within three months for about two years now, or so I have been told so for instance last summer it was due to be completed by autumn, last autumn it was due to be completed by winter, and so forth......
