Yes and in Grand Canyon Village they have a mule stable for the mule rides that take tourists down into the canyon. Mule deer frequently wander through the area as well (I saw some in that area driving out of my lodge to go photograph the sunset). So this is one of the only places in the world where you can see mules and mule deer on the same afternoon for comparison!
