Apologies for the poor angle - there were two fences in the way.
When asked, one well-meaning member of staff told me that this would be the site of the new "hippo enclosure". When I challenged that, another helpful chap said that it was going to be a school building.
@North Entrance Seriously? I'm guessing you know this from a members' talk, in which case maybe a mod can change the title as apparently everyone I asked was wrong.
I'm something at a loss for words, when parts of the current (old) gardens are a disgrace.
