I first went to Copenhagen Zoo in 1995, age 14, and remember my excitement in the tunnel between the zoo parts, seeing all these zoo posters. It was the first time that I had heard of many of these zoos. Back then, it seemed as likely that I would walk on the moon as get to see the massive zoos of e.g. Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Sydney and New York (all of which have posters there) but I have seen two of these, will see the Bronx in September, and no doubt will see Tokyo in the next few years. So childhood dreams can and do come true!
Seeing these pictures makes me miss the poster exhibit from the passage to Søndermarken. After they renovated it, I guess it looks prettier, but the new "standardised" pictures there are not nearly as interesting.
