Free flight hall

Anybody knows the current species line-up for this hall. A few years back it was packed with rarities only basically :p, most notorious a Bellbird...

Given I will be visiting in a week, if no one replies I will see what I can do :p

There were many different species including sun bittern; spangled cotinga and cock of the rock. One species of fruit crow as well. I don't think there was a bellbird labelled but I could be wrong. The bird house seemed less full of unusual species than last time I visited about five years ago. The shoebill appears to have left the collection as has the harpy eagle. Hope that is of help.

The birds in the Freiflughalle at my last visit, at the end of 2015 (so probably there have been some changes since that time):

Eurypygia helias
Geotrygon versicolor
Trogon viridis
Pitangus sulphuratus
Pyrocephalus rubinus
Cotinga cayana
Querula purpurata
Rupicola peruvianus
Chiroxiphia caudata
Furnarius leucopus
Cyanerpes caeruleus
Ramphocelus bresilius
Tangara chilensis
Tangara gyrola
Tangara icterocephala
Tangara mexicana
Cyanocompsa brissonii

Euphonia laniirostris
, Xipholena punicea and Tachyphonus rufus were the other neotropical birds in the Vogelhaus at that moment.

(sorry, just the scientific names here; no time now to search for the English names)

@AWP Pitangus sulphuratus? Sure? When I did my plan for visiting last summer (2017), with ZTL I listed Pitangus lictor. Much rarer than sulphuratus. This and Furnarius leucopus are the biggest rarities of the free-flight hall, that I unfortunately found closed, hence I missed these species :-(

During my visit, Trogon viridis (a female), Pyrocephalus rubinus (a female), Querula purpurata, Chiroxiphia caudata (both lone males) and Cyanerpes caeruleus (a pair) were in the glass-fronted enclosures previous to the hall. Not sure if they had their counterparts in the hall too...

@Kakapo This list is based on the signages in the Vogelhaus. The Lesser Kiskadee came in 2016 according to ZTL, so after my visit. Some species were in both the hall and the glass-fronted enclosures, at least the trogon and the fruitcrow, maybe some more.
