The first of the new mixed species enclosures. This one holds European souslik, Hermann's tortoise, Marginated tortoise, European legless lizard, Ocellated lizard and European pond turtle.
@snowleopard Except the Legless lizard I saw all yesterday, but I have seen that one in here before. The turtle, tortoises and souslik are easy to see. The 2 lizards need a bit more searching sometimes .
Do you happen to know what the situation with this exhibit during the wintertime is? Are the animals in the exhibit taken off-show to hibernate or are they left to do so in the enclosure?
