It's... just not big enough and lacks any sort of enrichment at all... very sad from one of Australia's top three zoos. I understand that replacing unsuitable exhibits takes time (as Melbourne's hamadryas baboons know all too well) but the death of the previous pair was surely an opportune time to either replace the enclosure or phase out sea lions.
