Wobbegong Species?

Perfect Predators
This is definitely a shark species. It's called a wobbegong. I didn't see which specific species of wobbegong it is. The whole Perfect Predators area wasn't great. The signage was interesting, but all of the shark exhibits were too small. I don't know why they couldn't have just been placed in the larger ocean tanks.

Orectolobus ornatus.

At least, that's what I think it is, based on the fact is has a white dot behind each spiracle.

Wow wouldnt have guessed shark in a million years. Just doesnt look shark like.

It probably would be more impressive to have sharks among everything else. Not that Ive seen it. Im just thinking of photos and videos I have seen of sharks in big ocean tanks. Maybe they were too afraid of a shark being a shark and eating exhibit mates. Who knows? Well the designers and keepers know... do they have keeper talks? Im not suggesting going back just to find out why.

This should be an Ornate Wobbegong. We saw the same ones when we were there and took a photo of the sign even.
