Solomon Islands skink infant

Reptile Tropics, Paignton, 21st May 2018
Corucia zebrata. First spotted by Gigit a few weeks ago, this was my first view of this huge infant: it was in shadow, hanging upside down with its prehensile tail over their breakfast salad. It eventually retired out of sight in a hole. Next time I'm at the zoo I intend to go to Reptile Tropics immediately the zoo opens in the hope of seeing it again.
