@Sarus Crane unlike some zoo nerds on this site who complain about the high entrance price of these parks then don’t ride the rides, I ride nearly every roller coaster I come across. This one I’d rate as fairly average, not as good at getting air time as it looks to be but still enjoyable. When I visited this park with a friend we rode the ride several times while waiting for one of the shows to begin. If you’re looking for a better ride experience I’d visit one of the other SeaWorlds, or if you’re in the area, the nearby Six Flags.
@jayjds2 I totally see your point! I wanna ride it because of its unique layout unlike a lot of other Arrow/Morgan Hypers which typically have the lift, drop, bunny hill turnaround and other hills in a parallel out and back fashion. Steel Eel fascinates me because its more spread out you get a feeling of being outdoors in a scenic area in the 2nd half of the ride. That's why I want to go there and ride it. Other coasters such as Loch Ness Monster (BG Williamsburg) and Sooper Dooper Looper (Hersheypark) aren't record breakers but are still fun rides that still hold up with the other newer coasters around even if they might be as smooth .
