Taken 7/19/17. Located in Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Park, the conservatory is a single domed building with a looping visitor path through its lush tropical plantings. It houses about 230 pinioned and free-flying birds; an ID card lists 48 species.
Did every bird in the aviary have its own umbrella, or was this particular bird a Mary Poppins fan or something?
 
This bird kept whistling 'A Spoonful of Sugar" for some reason...

It was the only bird with an umbrella!

I think it was a Princess parrot?
