A bit of a shame really. Although you never know if there's a good reason for it or if the 'forest-look' is what they're after, in which case fair enough.
For some animals the new overgrown exhibit would be ideal. However for snow leopards the more barren look is reminiscent of their native range. The zoo needs to seriously cut back the plantings (if they haven't done so already).
