Jungle Jewels - African species

Wow, I didn't realise they had that many dove species in there, I think I'll have to revisit my photos and see if there are any extra species I hadn't identified.

It will be interesting to see if the new bird park, when it opens in a couple of years, will stick with tried and tested, old-fashioned signs or move towards modern, electronic, rotating signs. I'm really hoping for the former as the latter can be a nightmare for zoo visitors.

Finally some proper signage!

@zooboy28 i think Jurong must have one of the largest collections of pigeons around, if not the largest

@Calyptorhynchus they are hoping to build the largest pigeon collection in the world.

@Erythrogaster I'm pretty sure they are well on their way
