August 2017. In the Asian garden, combined with pale-bellied myna, imperial pigeons and others. This was long one of the biggest bird highlights in the off-show area, and it's great to finally see it on-show!
Oh, and the yellow tip on the bill of the pigeon on the left makes it a silver-tipped imperial pigeon (Ducula luctuosa), another extreme rarity in European zoos!
